Projects
Following our successful international debut in Singapore, UNLID.DANCE Theatre is poised to further investigate the complexities of human connection through the continued development of "F5 Arnold Pt. 2." Early in 2025, we will also embark on the creation of "Waiting for Approval," a highly anticipated new work. These projects exemplify UNLID’s dedication to cultivating artistic talent and advancing the creative discourse within Melbourne’s dance community. Our commitment to innovation and artistic rigor drives these endeavors, which aim to provide transformative experiences for both performers and audiences alike. As we look ahead, we remain focused on producing work that challenges and expands the global understanding of contemporary dance.

Explore the intricate themes of relationships, isolation, and the unfolding narrative of existence through a language only the body can speak.
Joining forces with our friends from Arnold street studio, we present a showcase of dance and art not to be missed. Don't miss your chance to witness this unique production. Join us at the Shirley Burke Theatre for F5 ARNOLD and immerse yourself in a journey like no other!
F5 Arnold Pt.1 had its international Debut at the Singapore international dance Festival and Conference in September 2024.
Project two
Project Two: ‘F5 PT. 2 & 3’
F5 Arnold Pt. 2 & 3 delves into the chaotic landscape of human existence, exploring how we navigate noise and disconnection to find meaning and connection. Building on the themes of Part 1, it examines identity, survival, and the deconstruction of the individual within society's pressures. The performance asks: How do we form connections in a world that often feels fragmented? And, who are we when the pieces of our being are broken down?
Through a collaborative language of movement, F5 Arnold Pt. 2 & 3 maps the intersections of personal and collective history, showing that, even in isolation, human connection remains a constant—if elusive—beacon. It reflects the dancer's evolving role as a storyteller, revealing how we find wholeness in the fragments of our stories, and how our relationships shape the people we become. Ultimately, the work asks: In the midst of chaos, how do we discover the threads that bind us together?
